Percolate is a new night coming to bring the best in Booty, Bashment, Juke, Ghettotech and anything else suitably Boomty to Bristol. Expect a fun filled night of ass shaking, booty popping, wind your waistline beauties… with added bass and the Percolate dance-off.

Dj Spinn and Dj Rashad pioneers of the Chigago Juke Scene, the current underground Bass music infiltrating state-side raves. This is the Bristol date of their European Ghettoteknitianz E.P. Tour!

Dj Rashad:

DJ Rashad has been instrumental to the creation and evolution of Chicago Juke music and has been lifelong friends with other key players on the scene, such as Paul Johnson, DJ Gant-Man, DJ Spinn, DJ Godfather, and Jammin Gerald. He has the ability to blend elements of house, ghetto house, disco, juke, and ghettotech together with a knack for creating sparse, snappy tracks that manage to convey a physicality and funk with a spectacular precision.

Along with his teammates DJ Spinn and DJ Gant-Man, DJ Rashad has become notorious for making juke anthems that have made fans outside the world of Chicago mix cds. He’s DJ’d across Europe and released records on Juke Trax and Databass records earlier on in his career and some big remixes and collaborations are in the pipeline.

Dj Spinn:

A staple in footwork circles since the late 90s, and regular DJ at house parties throughout Chicagoland. South suburb resident Spinn started his career dancing for the legendary early dance crew House–O–Matics, later on becoming part of Wolf Pac with his partner in crime DJ Rashad. Known for having a knack for breaking down everything from hip-hop tracks to Pink Floyd into circle worthy material, his basement studio is a regular hangout for many prominent dancers and producers of today.

Monkey Steak:

Monkey Steak are producers Atki2 and Hanuman from Bristol and London respectively. With their ruffnek beats and rude bwoy pop Monkey Steak are dancefloor dynamite. Mashing up global riddims and bass heavy genre bending ruffness, they incorporate sounds from bassline to bashment, grime to dubstep to 2step garage to soca to baille funk to jungle and back again!
